When you enroll in an OnLex legal writing or law course, you get more than just a course! You also become a member of the OnLex community – you are an OnLexxer!
WHAT IS A COMMUNITY?
A community is a group of people who share common interests and work together towards a common goal and sharing and exchanging ideas, opinions, and interests. Being part of a community also gives us a sense of belonging and a sense of pride that comes with being part of something beyond ourselves.
Not too long ago, a community was limited to the geographic area where we lived or the school that we attended. But with the internet and amazing advances in technology those limitations no longer exist. Today we can be part of a community with members in every corner of the world.

HOW DO WE CREATE A COMMUNITY FOR YOU AND OTHER ONLEX MEMBERS?
COACHING CALLS
First, we host monthly group coaching calls on Zoom. The calls are an informal opportunity for you to meet and talk with other attorneys from around the world. We may discuss an issue in the news or talk about work, or have an casual discussion about an article or a podcast that we’ve read or listen to. The idea is to meet, learn and listen, and connect.
HOW TO BECOME AN “ONLEXXER”
OnLexxer’s are OnLex community members who share a love for the law and a desire to work towards the common goal of deepening our knowledge and mastery of legal English.
Everyone who enrolls in one of our courses, signs up for a one-on-one lesson with Karen or takes part in one of her customized workshops or courses automatically becomes an OnLexer and a member of the OnLex community forever!
There are also no requirements to participate in order to maintain or start your OnLex community membership. We always want students to take part, to share and connect and come to the monthly calls, but we also recognize that not everyone can, and that sometimes life changes may mean that you’ll have to step away for a period of time. Just know, the virtual door will always be open!
